Customer Service / Inside Sales Specialist
Flint & Walling, Inc. in Kendallville, IN is seeking an individual with strong customer service and communication skills in the areas of order entry, customer assistance, and customer sales follow up. Experience in working with international customers and coordinating export documentation would be a real plus. This position will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager.
New Product Technician
The New Product Technician would work with Engineering for the hands-on development and release of new products and line extensions. Responsibilities include supporting design prototypes, production documentation, and test verification to support timely completion of new products. While taking direction from engineering, this position must be independent and self-motivated to follow up on the working details with suppliers, internal departments, and testing as needed to support the project.
A technical degree and experience within an engineering discipline would be considered a minimum requirement. Previous work history of design or manufacturing would be beneficial.
Hourly Intern (Part Time Work with School Schedule)
Position Title: Engineering Co-Op / Intern Student (Flint & Walling – Water Pump Manufacturer)
Job Description:
- Internal quality or scrap concerns – assist engineering evaluations.
- Pump testing to statistically create minimum performance limits
- Customer Returns – performance testing, dimensional evaluations, tear downs, and part analysis
- Sample builds within lab environment to support new or changed product.
- Support of part tolerance stack-ups and cost analysis.
- Assist with research and development testing as required.
Preferred Requirements
- Education: Engineering Degree path (Mechanical preferred).
- Experience Desired: B Grade Average with previous work experiences.
- Independent, quick study on new topics, hands on tasks.
- Working hours: Open – looking to schedule approximate 20hrs per week around class schedule.
- Position available for Spring, Summer, Fall Semesters at the Kendallville, IN plant.
